A significant part of Türkiye's textile production is concentrated in the Marmara region, particularly its Thrace section. The Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ and Lüleburgaz corridor is a dense industrial belt where spinning, weaving, knitting and dyeing-finishing plants sit side by side.
That density directly affects tube supply as well.
Three concrete effects of proximity
1. Lead time
A tube is a light but bulky product. A shipment coming from a distant manufacturer can take days depending on the distance. A shipment from a manufacturer in the same region usually arrives the same day or the next.
When a production line is waiting for tubes, that difference translates directly into downtime.
2. Freight cost
Tubes occupy a great deal of space relative to their weight. A truckload of tubes is far lighter than the same volume of most other goods. This means freight is charged on volume rather than weight.
As distance grows, that cost rises quickly in proportion to the price of the product itself.
3. Response to urgent requests
An unexpected order, an unplanned shift, or a damaged batch — any of these can create an urgent need for tubes. Working with a manufacturer in the same region means such situations can be resolved within hours.
The Thrace textile belt
The density of plants in the region also creates an advantage for suppliers: because a manufacturer serves several customers in the same area, shipments can be combined, which lowers both cost and lead time.
It is also possible to meet on site when a technical problem arises. With matters such as tube deformation, finding the cause often requires seeing the line.
Not only regional
Regional proximity is an advantage but not a limit. At Kafkas Masura we ship throughout Türkiye and internationally. Periodic supply agreements can be arranged for regular and predictable requirements.
Our location
Our production facility is in Çorlu / Tekirdağ, Türkiye. Sitting at the centre of the Thrace textile belt, it allows rapid access to plants in the region.
